No more complaining about the difficulty of planning a wedding and finishing my dissertation at the same time.
This girl graduated fourth in her class, and got accepted to Harvard (and 19 other top-flight colleges and universities), while being homeless and attending 12 schools in 12 years.

Some people have fortitude that astounds me. I worked with a woman recently who made her way through high school AND university while homeless--in college she spent much of the time sleeping on the school's roof. She then went on to co-found one of the greatest organizations for homeless folks in this country. I am glad that people this amazing exist.
